Introduction

Pneumatic four-way ball valve is composed of an angular-stroke pneumatic actuator and a four-way ball valve. It can be equipped with a valve positioner to input a control signal (4-20mADC or 1-5VDC) and the air source can control the operation. It is used in various pipeline systems with fluid cut-off and connection, so that the media is transported to each designated point according to a predetermined program.

Features

1. Large torque output with rack and pinion pneumatic actuator or Scotch Yoke Pneumatic Actuator;

2. Small fluid resistance and large flow capacity;

3. The valve seat adopts PTFE material with certain elastic deformation and high strength, which achieves good sealing performance and ensures the stability of the valve.

4. Long service life: The ball and stem are made of austenitic stainless steel while the seat is made of PTFE, which can achieve good corrosion resistance and prolong the service life of the valve.

Working principle

After the solenoid valve on the actuator receives the signal, compressed air enters the cylinder of the piston actuator, which pushes the piston to move. The connecting rod on the piston drives the shaft of the actuator to rotate, and the connecting sleeve on the spindle drives the connecting shaft, valve stem and ball to achieve the 90° rotation. Therefore two types of media are switched conveniently and quickly to apply the single valve for multiple functions.
