Introduction

The pneumatic dumping valve is mainly used for the bottom discharge of the reflector, storage tank and other containers. It is welded to the bottom of the storage tank and other tanks by means of the bottom flange, thus eliminating the residual phenomenon of the process medium usually at the outlet of the container. The inner cavity of the valve body has erosion-resistant and corrosion-resistant sealing rings, which can protect the valve body from being eroded and corroded by the medium at the moment of opening the valve

Features:

1.    The V -shaped body has a flat-bottom type design, which provides two working modes of lifting and lowering flaps.

2.    The sealing ring is specially treated to make the surface hardness reach HRC56-62, which has the functions of high wear resistance and corrosion resistance

3.    The valve disc seal is welded with hard alloy overlaying when needed, and the seal pair is line sealed to ensure the reliability of the seal and prevent scarring. At the same time, the design of the short-stroke disc is adopted.

4.    The valve stem is treated with quenching and surface nitriding to have good corrosion resistance, scratch resistance and wear resistance

Principle of function

The dumping valve is mainly used for the bottom discharge, discharge, sampling and non-dead zone shut-off operation of the reaction kettle, storage tank and other containers.

It is mainly divided into: upper-expansion dumping valve, lower-expansion dumping valve, discharge ball valve.

The upper expansion type is used for the discharge of the reactor with a stirrer (except the frame anchor type) .The upward-spreading dumping valve is opened by the upward movement of the valve flap. When opening, the valve needs to overcome the force of the medium, and the opening moment is greater than the closing torque;

The lower expansion type and the plunger type are used for the discharge of the reactor with frame anchor type agitator. The lower-expansion and plunger type dumping valve is a valve flap ( plunger ) that moves downward and the valve opens. When opening, the movement direction is the same as the force of the medium, so the opening moment is smaller than the closing torque.

Instructions for use

1. Before installing the dumping valve, the outlet end capping should be removed to check whether the internal parts of the valve, valve disc, valve seat and valve stem are attached with dirt, and wipe the sealing surfaces of the valve disc and valve seat ;

2. Fix the dumping valve on the pipeline according to the designed connection method, and the valve body should not be subjected to large tensile, compressive, bending or twisting stress during the solid connection ;

3. The operation of the dumping valve is to open and close. For the manual dumping valve, the opening and closing direction indicator arrows and text are marked on the handwheel, and the opening indicator is set on the valve at the same time, and the handwheel is rotated clockwise to discharge the material. The valve is closed, and the handwheel is turned counterclockwise to open the dumping valve, and the opening indicator can indicate the opening and closing state of the dumping valve;

4. When closing, apply force tightly to prevent internal leakage. It is not allowed to replace the packing under pressure in the valve, but the packing can be compressed properly;

5.The opening and closing torques required at the beginning of opening and closing are large. When opening and closing the dumping valve, only one person is allowed to hold the edge of the handwheel to rotate the handwheel vigorously. Never use levers or other tools to increase the opening and closing torque To prevent damage to parts such as hand wheels, valve stems or valve stem nuts;
